Any person accessing the Neustar, Inc. web site accepts, without limitation or qualification, the terms and conditions of use set forth below and any additional terms and conditions of use set forth in links on this web site that connect to other web sites.

Copyright.  All images, text, programs, and other materials found in the Neustar web site are protected by the United States copyright laws. Any commercial use of the images, text, programs or other materials found in the Neustar web site is strictly prohibited without the express written consent of Neustar.

Trademarks.  The names, logos, and taglines identifying Neustar’s products and services are proprietary marks of Neustar, Inc. All other trademarks and service marks are the property of their respective owners.

Content Submission.

(a)    Certain areas of the Neustar web site allow for the exchange of information between you, the user, and Neustar. Any submission by the user becomes the property of Neustar, and the user implicitly grants Neustar the authority and right to use that content in accordance with Neustar corporate privacy policies.   2. You agree not to upload, post or otherwise transmit any UGC that is offensive to the online community, including blatant expressions of bigotry, racism, abusiveness, vulgarity or profanity.
  3. You agree not to upload, post or otherwise transmit any material that contains or advocates pornography, pedophilia, incest, bestiality, or that is otherwise obscene.
  4. You agree not to upload, post or otherwise transmit any UGC that violates any law or engage in activity that would constitute a criminal offense or give rise to a civil liability;
  5. You agree not to upload, post or otherwise transmit any UGC that advocates or provides instruction on illegal activity or discuss illegal activities with the intent to commit them;
  6. You agree not to upload, post or otherwise transmit, UGC which contains advertising or any solicitation with respect to products or services;
  7. You agree not to upload, post or otherwise transmit UGC that does not generally pertain to the designated topic or theme;
  8. You agree not to impersonate any person or entity, including, but not limited to, any Neustar employee, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
  9. You agree not to interfere with any other user’s right to privacy, including by harvesting or collecting personally-identifiable information about the web site users or posting private information about a third party;
  10. You agree not to upload, post or otherwise transmit any UGC, software or other materials which contain a virus or other harmful or disruptive component;
  11. You agree not to interfere with or disrupt the site or the servers or networks connected to the website, or disobey any requirements, procedures, policies or regulations of networks connected to the website;
  12. You agree not to upload, post, e-mail or otherwise transmit any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, “junk mail,” “spam,” “chain letters,” “pyramid schemes,” or any other form of solicitation;
  13. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit for any commercial purpose, any portion of the website;
  14. You agree not to upload, post, or otherwise transmit any UGC protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, right of publicity or other proprietary right without the express permission of the owner of such copyright, trademark, trade secret, right of publicity or other proprietary right.
  15. You agree that if necessary, you have the consent of each and every identifiable natural person in any submission to use such persons name or likeness in the manner contemplated by website.

 

Any conduct that in Neustar’s sole discretion restricts or inhibits anyone else from using or enjoying the website will not be permitted. Neustar reserves the right in its sole discretion to remove or edit UGC for any reason. Neustar is not responsible for UGC submitted to the site or posted in comments sections by users of the website.

(c)    Monitoring. Neustar shall have the right, but not the obligation, to monitor UGC posted or uploaded to the website to determine compliance with these terms and any operating rules established by Neustar and to satisfy any law, regulation or authorized government request. Although Neustar has no obligation to monitor, screen, edit or remove any of the UGC posted or uploaded to the website, Neustar reserves the right, and has absolute discretion, to screen, edit, refuse to post or remove without notice any UGC posted or uploaded to the website at any time and for any reason, and you are solely responsible for creating backup copies of and replacing any UGC posted to the website at your sole cost and expense.

User Responsibility.  The user assumes all responsibility for use of the Neustar web site. The user waives all claims against Neustar, Inc., its officers, directors, employees, suppliers, and programmers that may arise from the use of the Neustar web site.
